Simring Law Group Sues Winklevoss Brothers and Bitcoin Seller Gemini Trust for Elder Exploitation

On June 10, 2020, The Simring Law Group filed suit in Palm Beach County against Gemini Trust Company, an online Bitcoin trading platform, and its owners, Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, for elder abuse and exploitation for negligently allowing a fraudster to open a Bitcoin trading account in the name of an 80-year-old senior citizen, to whom Gemini never spoke, and then allowing the perpetrator to use the phony Gemini account to steal $50,000 of their retirement funds without ever placing a Bitcoin trade.
